In 1998 I traveled to Brazil where I was introduced to the " Churrascaria " or Brazilian BBQ Steakhouse. If I had fifty grand when I returned back to the states I would have been a Gaucho King right now. Twelve years Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chao have paved the way for major city chains who specialize in a destination steak house styled after the Churrascaria. Huge coin is spent at these venues daily. The salad bar highlights the center of the establishment while Gaucho wait staff patrol the dining room with skewers of highly seasoned grilled meats ready for table side delivery. Poorboy Dave missed the boat on that one. Chop't has got it all going on. The two Chop't locations in downtown DC have lines outside the door at 1130 and running until after 1:00 PM. Chicken, steak, and grilled shrimp optional. Moe's and Chipotle have the Burrito Trade covered. What is left? You may ask. I am about to tell you >>>>>> Just not today NOMAD - 4 U
